Wellington have defeated Canterbury in their annual Women's match, a hitout on the two National Interprovincial venues Paraparaumu Beach and Waikanane before the tournament in 3 weeks time.

On a breezy two days golf, the two Kapiti coast layouts provided plenty of challenge, and insight into the how they might play in December.

Wellington's 8 - 4 win was highlighted by captain Charlotte Gillespie's two wins against Canterbury's no.1 and no. 2 players,  supported nicely by Dakota Asi's 2 points, and Teisa-mania Vaka & Elise Barbers win and half records.
