Ngawi is home to the Southern most golf course in the North Island; nine holes of square greens mown into beach side grass.Sixty minutes drive from Martinborough this course is worth playing just for the tee off underneath the picturesque 100,000 gallon water tank! Based in Ngawi fishing village its a very remote and beautiful area. You'll see the largest collection of bulldozers, vintage and mostly functioning in the world, used to access all the fishing boats due to no wharfs and the extreme coastline.

And there’s plenty to do after nine holes with the nearby Cape Palliser Lighthouse and fur seal colony.  Following a walking track into the Pinnacles will make up for the last nine - the scenery is stunning.
