Riversdale beach - Golf Wellington

Riversdale Beach is a tight yet challenging 9-hole course, played twice from different tees to make 18. Easy walking and with one club cart available for hire, we like to think that our slice of paradise offers the best little course in NZ. Our full time greenskeeper ensures the course is immaculate year-round and you can be sure of a friendly welcome whenever you come to visit. We also boast two newly renovated tennis courts, available for casual use for a small fee.

Our clubhouse is well equipped and lends itself to weddings, corporate functions and social events. Offering picture perfect view of the Pacific Ocean and the Course itself, the fully stocked bar is open year-round on Tuesdays from 5pm and Friday – Sunday from 4pm. During the summer holiday season, the bar is open at 4pm every day from Boxing Day through to the second week of January.

Meals are available for members and their guests every Friday night and prove very popular among locals and visitors alike, no bookings required. Riversdale Beach Golf Club are also proud to host the local Fishing Club and we are the Community Emergency Hub for the local area.

Our office is staffed part-time but we offer a full range of options for payment of green fees. These include honesty box, QR code and also online booking and payment through the website. Please note that during weekends and busy holiday periods, it is essential that you book your tee time to manage course flow. Reciprocal rates for all Wairarapa Clubs are available.

Club Day is held every Saturday from 1:00pm (1:30pm DST). Ladies Golf takes place on a Wednesday at 9:00am, and Men’s Golf (Skinners) on a Friday at 1:00pm (1:30pm DST). Visitors are usually welcomed for any of the above, please contact the office if you have any questions.

The clubhouse

Boasting fantastic views of both the sea and the golf course, the clubhouse (or 19th Hole, as it is affectionately known) is a perfect spot to relax after your round. Sit on the enclosed deck and enjoy the afternoon sun with a beverage from our fully stocked bar, or join us for a meal on Friday nights.

Our chef, Simon of SALT Streetfood, is well known for providing fresh and delicious fare, please see the link for the latest menu and look out for on the night specials. Bookings are not necessary, however we do ask that you please advise us if you have a large group (12+).
